  • Can I swap between two xbox 360 dvd drives, one flashed and one not?

It’s kind of a noobish question. I want to flash one drive so I can play backed up games (of course). I want another drive, the original, so I can not worry about being banned on Live when playing original copies of games.

My question is, can this be done? Can I switch between the two dvd drives?

  • Why isn’t my flashed xbox 360 reading any of the games I burned?

A couple of days ago I flashed my 360 using the two pin method. I went out and bought blank dvd dls and I followed a tutorial online… when I put the burnt disc into the drive it reads for a few seconds (the drive makes spinning noise) and then it says “open tray”. I even tried backing up another game to see if it was a bad copy but that didnt work either. Can anyone help.
The xbox still plays non backup games. I hacked it because I have a dog that likes to chew on plastic… Not because I’m cheap.

  • Can Fallout 3 for the Xbox 360 be used in place of Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition?

I purchased Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition for the XBox 360. I installed the game and played for a week or two. The “game play” disc has since become cracked and unusable. The second disc that contained the expansion games is unharmed, however the “game play” disc is needed to play the game. I am wondering if I can purchase a standard Fallout 3 disc (which is now much cheaper) or do I have to purchase another copy of the Game of the Year Edition in order to play my existing saved games? Thanks.
I suppose I could always start over from scratch. If I did start over with the Fallout 3 (non GOTY edition) could I still use the expansions from the second disc of the GOTY edition?

GOTY = Game of the Year
I can confirm that it indeed does work. I purchased Fallout 3 and I was able to play my saved games from Fallout 3 GOTY edition.

PS3 will soon offer PS3 HOME. This feature allows you to create a person in an online city. You can chat, and share movies in your own crib.
PS3 also contains enough power to be a computer, and has WarHawk, and an internet browser.

XBox 360 has Halo, and its a lot more affordable and has a better game selection.

PS3 is expensive, and is bulky.

XBox 360 have horrible satisfactory, and doesn’t have the best online community.

PS3 doesn’t have a lot of online users due to its high price and its failure to sell more than 5,000,000 copies.

XBox 360 does have a lot of people, but doesn’t contain PS3 HOME.

FORGET WHAT YOU’VE HEARD ABOUT THE PS3, and actually think about it. Please. I asked many people and the choice is leaning toward XBox 360, but then again I can link my PSP to the PS3 and downoad content.

THE ps3 has WIFI and free online service, while the Wifi plus
    member ship is expensive.

    TOTALS:

    PS3 60gb $499
    XBox 360 +WIFI AND MEMBERSHIP $499
I’m not a heavy gamer, If its a hand full of games, its good.

I HAVE a Wi. I’ve had it for a year and only got 2 games.
    Halo is so over rated

  • The best Xbox games?

I do not have the money (at least right now) to buy a next/new generation console, such as the Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii, no matter how much I really want one.

I have a PlayStation 2 and a GameCube already. An Xbox would complete the last generation console line-up. So, my question is:
*What games are the absolute best for the Xbox (NOT Xbox 360….yet) in your opinion?*

    ————-
Lists of personally preferred games in order of preference are preferred.

Please do not copy a Top-whatever type list from a website or someone else unless it *completely* follows your own favorites.

Thanks in advance to those who respond.
