The only way to play modded/fake games is to get a mod chip. This is because all xbox360 games have this security thing on it and burning one yourself does not allow the Xbox to read it. The chip bypasses this and allows you to play any fake games for Xbox and Xbox360.
However if you do mod your Xbox then you shouldn’t go online on Xbox Live because they could catch you and might freeze your system (or so I’ve heard.)If not you could always rent games or borrow from your friends while you lend them your games.

Just get it chipped man, I dont know why you don’t want to. It fast and easy to install. All it requires is some patience. Trust me, you will be really happy once you mod it.
